Lump in the breast is commonly associated with breast cancer, majority of the time, more than 90% of breast lumps in women in their early 20s to early 50s are noncancerous (benign).
Consult your doctor immediately if experience the following symptoms or sings on one or both breast:
Swelling or a lump around the collarbone or under the arm
Breast pain or a new lump that doesn't go away after next period
Changes in the shape of the nipple
Unintentional weight loss
Visible veins on the breast
Enlarged lymph node in the armpit
unexplained redness swelling, skin irritation, or rash on the breast
Vaginal pain
Nipple discharge from one breast that is clear, red, brown or yellow
Enlargement of one breast
