Symptoms involved are Diarrhoea, vomiting, weakness, fever, bleeding
Spread by contact with bodily fluids
Attacks internal organs
Highly infectious
First appeared in 1976 in DRC and Sudan
Current Outbreak has killed nearly 500 people in West Africa (Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea)
Infected people are treated in Isolation
Patients are given fluids to prevent dehydration
There is no known cure
Current outbreak is killing 9 out of 10 victims
