In these hot days healthy food in sehar and iftar is important. Due to unbalanced diet fasting persons get lethargy, drowsy and irritable.
Avoid fat diet including samosa, pakorcha and other fried foods.
Use fruits, fruit chat, channas, use Lemon-water syrup or lussi instead of packed or branded ready-made beverages. Soft drinks should be no consumed particularity never be taken in iftar as this causes kidney problems including damage.
Use low spiced and low fat food, use dairy products (i.e. milk, yogurt, etc.) in sehri, fasting person remains energetic and do not feel intense thirst. Use at most 5 grams of salt other wise may suffer from high blood pressure in future if not currently. Diabetes and hypertension (high blood pressure) patients should consult doctor for Ramadan.
